Time & Location

Beach Schmidt Performing Arts Center, Hays, KS 67601, USA
About the Event
Conductor: Brian Buckstead
Director: Meredith Cory
Young Christoph writes to his uncle about a wild-haired, cranky stranger who has moved in the apartment upstairs. Who could it be? None other than Ludwid van Beethoven! This touching story unfolds with more than 25 excerpts of the composer's most beautiful works. Christoph comes to understand the genius of Beethoven, the beauty of his music and the torments of his deafness.
This 50 minute program is an ideal introduction to classical music for audience members ages 6 and up (all ages welcomed)!
