Dear Hays Symphony Patrons,

Fort Hays State University has responded to events surrounding COVID-19 by suspending all in-person class meetings (including private lessons and ensembles) in favor of online coursework, likely for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. This will be in effect as of March 23.

Unfortunately, our May 2 season finale concert (and all rehearsals) will need to be canceled. While I am saddened by this decision, it is important for all of us to stay healthy.

I look forward to working with all of you again in the near future. Berlioz shall return!

Take care,

Brian Buckstead

Hays Symphony Conductor
